70 mile YARD SALE

So this past weekend was AMAZING!  I was able to attend the annual 70 mile yard sale on Prince Edward Island!! I am talking about 70 miles of yard sale after yard sale after yard sale...And so many great finds!
Many suitcases in many colors and all of them in total for under 20$ TOTAL! (These are only a few of them) Also two wonderful old typewriters.

I think my best find though was two vintage Coach leather bags....One satchel style (1$) and a messenger bag (2$)...they are beautiful and in amazing condition!! Couldn't believe it!

This yard sale may become a yearly road trip of a vacation!

Manitoba Clothing Company

I have been driving by this sign every day on my way to work while in Winnipeg, Manitoba and have been very curious what the story is behind it...

~The Manitoba Clothing Company has been churning out clothing since 1877.

~Incorporated under the Manitoba Clothing Company name in 1895, it began as a retail entity but after financial trouble in 1898 they reorganized, built a new 2 storey location at 560 Main Street the began to hire tailors and seamstresses for a manufacturing arm.

~By 1909 they had numerous orders, including orders for the local Street Railway and fire departments, some contracts continued for decades!
