✵ A strong, independent, compassionate, creative woman with an amazing joie de vivre. Diane is by far one of the most influential women fashion designers.
✵ Best known for the "wrap dress"...which she created in 1974 after moving to NYC in 1972 with a suitcase full of jersey dresses.
✵ By 1976 she had sold over a million of the dresses and was featured on the cover of Newsweek Magazine...
✵ In 2005 Diane was given the
Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America for her impact on fashion.

1. Trust yourself.
