I ♡ VINTAGE and I ♡ LIFE

I have always enjoyed thrifting and vintage shopping so this is my outlet.
I grew up in a very small town (in Canada), and I can remember being in junior high; my best friend and I would walk to the nearest second-hand store (there was only one) and we would find the funkiest finds (everything under 5$)...transform them to suit us and wear them to school that week! We loved finding the most absurd items and altering them to make them our own...or finding vintage items and bringin' them back!

Now living in a much bigger city (in Canada)... I opened Charming Gypsy Vintage on Etsy.com when I was staying in a hotel room while out of town working for a few months.  I am an actor...and sometimes you find yourself out of town on a contract, and in a hotel room, which is when I began searching for a side job to keep me busy in my down time.  My shop and this blog occupy a huge portion of my days and I love every minute of it!
When not searching for vintage treasures I enjoy creating jewelry...I have always been inspired by photography and have found a way to use my photography and turning it into custom vintage inspired pendants and lockets.  (There will be an update regarding my jewelry soon...)

Charming Gypsy's logo is girl with her hair blowing in the wind, standing in the water, holding a suitcase. I was inspired by a photo my mom had taken of me standing in the water looking out at a sunset. I took that exact photo and designed my logo, adding the suitcase. Simple yet I like the meaning behind it...I'm a small town girl that lives a life on the road and enjoys finding treasures along the way!!
